Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
What is the Festival and who is it for?
It is a week of deep immersion in Kundalini Yoga, meditation, Sat Nam Rasayan and practices connected to awareness and inner growth.
Set within the natural reserve of Riva di Ugento, in the heart of Salento, the Festival combines yoga, live music, sharing and connection with nature, creating an experience of physical, mental and inner regeneration.
The Festival is open to everyone, both experienced practitioners and those approaching these practices for the first time, with no previous experience required.
Do I need previous experience in Kundalini Yoga to participate?
No, all activities are designed to be accessible even for beginners. Teachers will guide each practice with care, offering clear instructions and adaptations whenever needed. To experience the Festival more progressively, whether you are experienced or attending for the first time, we recommend participating from the beginning and throughout the entire week, so you can follow the full continuity of the journey.
Is the Festival suitable for families and children?
Yes, the Festival welcomes families. Some activities can be shared, while others are specifically designed for adults, although children are always welcome to stay in the yoga area during the activities. Every day, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, an experiential workshop for children and teenagers is organized and guided by a dedicated facilitator, with playful and creative activities held near the yoga area.
Where does the Festival take place?
The Festival takes place at Riva di Ugento Beach Camping Resort, surrounded by the natural landscape of Salento, between pine forest and sea, in an environment that encourages presence, listening and connection.
How are the Festival days structured?
For those who wish to participate, Festival days begin early in the morning with Aquarian Sadhana at 5:00 AM, including meditation and chanting until 7:00 AM.
This is followed by the morning Kundalini Yoga class from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM. The 7:30 AM class is freely accessible to all campsite guests.
At 10:30 AM, the morning session takes place, dedicated either to yoga or Sat Nam Rasayan.
At 1:30 PM, a shared vegetarian lunch is served, included in Festival passes or available separately.
In the afternoon, activities resume at 5:30 PM with the evening session, ending around 7:00 PM.
Some evenings include scheduled activities, while others are intentionally left free for rest, spontaneous sharing or personal time. Free evenings always conclude with a group meditation in the yoga area around 9:00 PM.
Is it possible to attend only some activities?
Yes, it is possible to attend the entire Festival, individual days or single activities, depending on the available participation options.
This flexibility is also intended for people accompanying participants without attending the full Festival themselves. Companions may purchase access to individual activities and choose freely how much time to dedicate to practice.
How can I register?
Festival registration takes place online through the Festival website, in the “Book” section. Once registration is completed, you will receive all useful information for participating. Accommodation booking at the campsite is separate and must be arranged directly with the campsite by email.
What accommodation options are available?
It is possible to stay inside the campsite by choosing among different accommodation options, from tent camping to more comfortable solutions.
All information is available in the accommodation section.
Are accommodation booking and Festival registration connected?
Accommodation booking and Festival registration are two separate and independent procedures. You may choose whether to book accommodation first or register for the Festival first, according to your needs. However, both procedures must be completed in order to participate and stay at the campsite.
Can I use the Festival campsite discount even if I haven’t purchased a Festival Pass yet?
Yes, it is possible to request the special Festival accommodation rate even before purchasing a Festival Pass, allowing you to decide later which activities you would like to attend. However, it is important to inform the Festival organization through the contact form on the website, so that your name can be added to the list shared with the campsite. The campsite may verify that guests benefiting from the special Festival discount are actually participating in the Festival, both during accommodation booking and later at check-out.
What happens if the person purchasing the Pass is different from the person attending the Festival?
There is no problem if the person making the payment is different from the person attending the Festival lessons and activities. The confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided during payment. However, it is necessary to contact the Festival organization, either through the contact form on the website or by replying to the confirmation email, in order to indicate the name of the person who will actually attend the Festival.
Only the list of people purchasing Festival Passes will be shared with the campsite for verification of accommodation discounts. If the campsite accommodation booking and the Festival Pass purchase are made under different names, please inform us using the methods described above, in order to avoid possible issues with the campsite.
Do the accommodations include everything needed for cooking?
Depending on the type of accommodation booked, kitchen equipment and dishes may already be included.
Otherwise, they can usually be rented for the duration of the stay. For specific information, it is recommended to contact the campsite directly by email.
Does the campsite provide suitable services for the stay?
Yes, the campsite offers a wide range of internal services designed to meet everyday needs during the stay, including a well-stocked supermarket, pharmacy, bar, restaurant, clothing and accessory shops. As the campsite is very large, it also includes several beach access points and equipped beach areas with sunbed and umbrella rental services. Bicycle rental is also available inside the campsite.
Are meals included?
Full Pass, Day Pass and Flex Pass include the shared vegetarian lunch. Breakfast and dinner are always excluded.
Participants choosing Mini Pass, Experience Pass, single lessons or individual activities may purchase lunch separately on the days they attend.
How does lunch work?
Lunch takes place from June 21st to June 26th in a shared dining area organized for Festival participants.
A vegetarian meal prepared by the campsite restaurant will be served each day. Every menu will be different and will include at least one grain-based dish, served either hot or cold depending on the recipe, one plant-based protein and a variety of cooked and raw vegetables.
Shared tableware will be available, although participants may also bring their own.
For children or people with food intolerances, menu variations may be requested by informing the organization the day before.
During lunchtime, participants who wish may also offer Seva by helping with meal distribution.
Can I participate without staying overnight at the campsite?
Yes, it is possible to participate without staying at the campsite by choosing the daily participation option. In this case, please consider the campsite daily entrance fee of €15, required by the campsite for insurance coverage and visitor registration within the property. Please also note that the campsite offices open at 8:30 AM. Before that time, outside visitors will not be able to access the campsite.
What should I bring to attend the classes?
We recommend bringing a yoga mat, a towel or blanket for relaxation if needed, comfortable clothing and a water bottle.
For some practices, a cushion may also be helpful to support posture and comfort.
Is it necessary to participate in all daily activities?
No, each participant is free to choose which activities to attend and how much time to dedicate to rest, the sea or personal time.
Are the classes held in Italian or English?
